They examine existing ethical theories and offer methods of applying a particular theory in a given context. The various models and codes of ethics are discussed in juxtaposition with decision-making in general, sprot marketing, human resource management, organizational governance, and legal issues in sport management.

Editorial Reviews About the Author Joy T. DeSensi, Ed.D. is currently Profesor and Department Head in the Sport and Leisure Studies Department at The University of Tennessee. Her research interests include the areas of gender, race, and ethnicity in sport, women in sport, multiculturalism and ethics in sport management. She is the author and coauthor of book chapters and articles that appear in Quest, the Journal of Sport Management and the Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. She has served on the editorial boards of scholarly journals, as the editor of the Journal of Sport Management, and is the current editor of Quest. She is a founding member of the North American Society for Sport Management and has served as the President of the Southern Academy of Women in Physical Activity, Sport and Health, The Philosophic Society for the Study of Sport, and the National Association for Physical Education in Higher Educationl. Her professional recognitions include distinguished alumna awards from the University of Memphis and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, service awards, and recognitions for teaching and research. She also received scholar lecture awards including the Delphine Hanna Lecture Award from the National Association for Physical Education in Higher Education, the Alfreda Mosscrop Lecture Award from the Southern Academy for Physical Activity, Sport and Health, and the Earle F.
