In addition to software technology, he has always been interested in the sociological background of cooperation in project teams. He has led many international projects in a wide variety of roles and has written various specialist articles and books. In 2020, he wrote his debut novel “DAS PROJEKT”, which was published as a business thriller. The story continued in 2021 with “Operation SCORE 13-4”. “Die Aktie EM” was published in 2022 and ‘Sudden Death’ in 2023. The series continued in 2025 with “The #nextParadise method”. In an exciting way, the reader gets an insight into the use of technology in our society with all its advantages and disadvantages. The small AI company FIVE Star has to prove itself in the brutal business world. Das vorliegende Buch behandelt das Gebiet Prototyping in der Software- Entwicklung. Der Begriff Prototyping fand schon vor langer Zeit Eingang in die Informatik. Unterschiedliche Ansätze werden in der Literatur über Software Engineering diskutiert (leider aber meist nur aus akademischer Sicht). Der traditionelle Softwareentwicklungsprozeß ist zur Entwicklung von komplexen Zielsystemen, z.B. verteilte Systeme, ungeeignet. Durch die Strategie des Prototypings soll mit den, möglicherweise sehr unterschiedlichen, Anwendern und ihren verschiedenen Vorstel- lungen ein möglichst früh ausführbares und bewertbares Modell des Zielsystems entwickelt werden. Die Nachteile des traditionellen Softwareentwicklungsansatzes werden umgangen. Allerdings wird der Begriff "Prototyping" in der Informatik sehr unterschiedlich interpretiert. Das Buch ist in folgende drei Teile gegliedert: Grundlagen und Problemstellung, Vorschlag einer integrierten Vorgehensweise und Realisierungserfahrungen. Durch alle drei Teile zieht sich ein sukzessiv vervollstän- digtes Beispiel. Zunächst wird in Teil I der traditionelle Softwareentwicklungsansatz kritisch beleuchtet. Der Begriff Prototyping wird in all seinen "schillernden" Ausprägungen diskutiert. Klassiflkationskonzepte werden vorgestellt. Viele der vorgeschlagenen Ansätze eignen sich allerdings nicht für die Entwicklung komplexer Zielsysteme (z.B. verteilte Systeme, offene Systeme, CIM, Bürokommunikation, eingebettete Systeme, Multidatenbanksysteme) da ihr Abstraktionsniveau zu tief ist und/oder nur ein singulärer Ansatz verfolgt wird.
