My common-sense approach to test preparation and education combines a fun, interactive environment with sound theory and practical application. I first put my analytical skills and nurturing personality to work as an ACT and SAT coach after receiving a Psychology degree from Michigan State University in 1991. During forays into the corporate world over the next several years, I continued to tutor part-time, eventually helping to found Advantage Education in 1997, ACT Classroom in 2020, and Elite ACT Prep in 2022. I have worked with thousands of high school students in both a private and classroom setting. My sense of humor and down-to-earth teaching style allow me to connect with my ACT students and make learning fun. Additionally, I have been an avid horsewoman for most of my life, which has taught me patience and perseverance. It has been said that horses make you honest, a sentiment that I take to heart.
