About the Author Kevin Conrad, M.D. MBA is a practicing physician in New Orleans, Louisiana at Ochsner Health Systems. He serves as the Medical Director for Community Affairs and Health Policy at Ochsner. He has appointments with Tulane Medical School and the University of Queensland in Australia. He currently serves on the Physician Editorial Board of the Hospitalist.
